"Delicious sourdough bread made effortlessly with a starter, fermenting overnight and baked fresh in the morning."
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups warm water
  • 1 cup sourdough starter
  • 0.5 cup corn oil
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 6 cups bread flour
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, combine water, sourdough starter, oil, sugar, and salt. Sift in the flour and mix well. Grease the dough with oil, place it in an oiled bowl, cover, and allow it to rise overnight.
  • The following day, generously grease two 8 x 4-inch loaf pans. Knead the dough for 10 minutes, then divide it in half and place each portion into the greased pans. Let the dough double in size.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for a perfect bake.
  • Bake the loaves in the preheated oven for about 40 to 45 minutes until the top is golden brown. Remove the loaves from the pan onto a work surface and tap the bottom of the loaf gently. If it sounds hollow, the bread is ready.
