3-ingredient sourdough starter for versatile baking: bread, pancakes, focaccia, and beyond!
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
  • 2 cups warm water
Instructions:
  • Collect all ingredients.
  • In a spacious bowl, add flour. Sprinkle yeast on top, pour in warm water, and mix until fully combined.
  • Allow the bowl to rest on a cookie sheet, loosely covered, in a cozy spot for 4 to 8 days until it develops a pleasant bubbly and sour aroma. Discard if any unusual coloring appears.
