Succulent South African braai dish, perfect for venison or beef. Marinate meat and veggies overnight for ultimate flavor before grilling.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 cup cubed lamb stew meat
  • 12 ounces dried apricots
  • 8 kabob skewers
Instructions:
  • Prepare a flavorful sauce by combining the yogurt, curry powder, sugar, and oil in a small bowl. Taste the mixture and adjust the seasonings to your preference.
  • Peel and dice the onion into 1-inch pieces. Skewer lamb, onion, and dried apricots in alternate order. Place in a large resealable bag and pour in the sauce, ensuring everything is evenly coated. Marinate in the refrigerator overnight or for at least 8 hours.
  • Heat up the grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grate.
  • Grill the kabobs over medium coals for 8 to 10 minutes per side, until they reach your preferred level of doneness.
