Irresistible sticky pork ribs with homemade BBQ sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 36.40 gm olive oil
  • 5.00 gm smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • 2.40 gm garlic salt
  • 32.00 gm brown sugar
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1.5kg Pork BBQ Ribs
  • 400g pkt American BBQ Slaw Kit
  • 1 brown onion, finely chopped
  • 400g can cherry tomatoes
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 20.00 ml balsamic vinegar
  • 48.80 gm Worcestershire sauce
Instructions:
  • Preheat a covered barbecue on medium heat or oven to 160C. Combine oil, paprika, chili, garlic salt, brown sugar, and dried oregano in a shallow ceramic dish, then add ribs and coat evenly. Transfer ribs to a lined disposable baking dish, cover with foil, and cook in the barbecue or oven for 1 hour. Uncover, then cook for an additional hour until done.
  • For the BBQ sauce, mix onion, tomatoes, garlic, sugar, vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce in a saucepan. Simmer on low for 20 minutes until thickened. Cool slightly, then blend until smooth.
  • Coat the ribs in the tray with half of the delicious BBQ sauce, then bake for 1 hour or until the meat is perfectly tender.
  • Follow the instructions on the salad kit packet. Serve the ribs with the extra BBQ sauce and salad.
