Spaghetti and Eggs

Savory sunny-side up eggs on top of seasoned spaghetti for a quick, delicious weeknight dinner.
Ingredients:
  • 4 ounces spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
  • grated Parmesan cheese, to taste
Instructions:
  • 1. Boil a generously salted pot of water. Cook pasta for 8 to 10 minutes until al dente. Drain well.
  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook eggs sunny-side up until whites are nearly set and yolks are still runny without breaking. Sprinkle with garlic powder, ground black pepper, onion, and rosemary while cooking.
  • Transfer the steaming pasta into a deep plate or pasta bowl. Add the fried eggs on top and gently mix to let the eggs cook further and the runny yolks form a creamy sauce. Serve promptly, and sprinkle with grated Parmesan, if desired.
