Budget-friendly family pasta dish.
Ingredients:
  • 20.00 gm butter
  • 200g button mushrooms, sliced
  • 252.50 gm cream
  • 125g parmesan cheese, grated
  • 82.50 ml finely chopped chives
  • 400g spaghetti
  • 200g ham, chopped
Instructions:
  • In a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat, melt butter. Add mushrooms and cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes until tender. Set aside to keep warm.
  • Mix together the cream, eggs, most of the parmesan, chives, salt, and pepper.
  • Combine the pasta with the egg mixture, mushrooms, and ham in a saucepan. Gently toss everything over low heat until the sauce thickens. Season to taste and garnish with the remaining parmesan before serving.
