Spaghetti marinara

Quick and delicious spaghetti marinara bursting with seafood flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 18.20 gm olive oil
  • 1 medium brown onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Chilli Flakes (optional)
  • 400g can Diced Tomatoes
  • 400g Thawed Seafood Marinara Mix (from the deli)
  • 375g Spaghetti No.1
  • 1 bunch flat-leaf parsley, thinly sliced
Instructions:
  • 1. Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Cook onions, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes until softened. 2. Add chilli if desired, cook for 1 minute until fragrant. 3. Pour in the tomatoes, bring to a boil, then simmer over low heat for 5 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens. 4. Season to taste.
  • Gently mix in the marinara sauce and let it simmer on very low heat for 2 minutes or until seafood is cooked. Remove from heat.
  • Cook the pasta in boiling water according to package directions until al dente, then drain.
  • Combine the pasta and two-thirds of the parsley with the seafood mixture, gently folding to mix. Sprinkle the remaining parsley on top. Serve promptly.
