Delicious seafood spaghetti marinara bursting with gourmet flavors.
Ingredients:
  • 18.20 gm olive oil
  • 1 medium brown onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 123.75 gm dry red wine
  • 44.40 gm tomato paste
  • 2 x Mutti Polpa Finely Chopped Tomatoes 400g
  • 650g marinara mix (see note)
  • 62.50 ml finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves
  • Cooked spaghetti, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, sauté onion and garlic in oil until onion softens, about 5 minutes. Pour in wine and simmer until liquid is reduced by half, about 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Stir in tomato paste and cook for 1 minute. Add fresh tomatoes and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in the marinara mixture and continue to simmer for an additional 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Fold in the fragrant, chopped flat-leaf parsley to infuse the dish with freshness. Present the flavorful mixture over a bed of spaghetti, and finish with a sprinkle of additional parsley for a vibrant touch.
