Indulge in flavorful spaghetti with versatile Muir Glen® tomato marinara - a must-try for Italian food enthusiasts.
Ingredients:
  • 4 cans (14.5 oz each) Muir Glen™ organic diced tomatoes with Italian herbs, undrained
  • 1 can (6 oz) Muir Glen™ organic tomato paste
  • 1 large onion, chopped (1 cup)
  • 8 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive or vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil leaves
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 24 oz uncooked spaghetti
  • Shredded Parmesan cheese, if desired
Instructions:
  • Prepare your 3- to 4-quart slow cooker by spraying it with cooking spray. Combine all ingredients in the slow cooker, except for the spaghetti and cheese.
  • Cover and simmer on low heat for 8 to 10 hours for a delicious and tender result.
  • Prepare spaghetti according to package instructions. Top with sauce and sprinkle with cheese for a delicious finishing touch.
