Spaghetti with Garlic and Basil

Light and refreshing summer pasta with garlic, basil, butter, and olive oil.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package uncooked spaghetti
  • 0.25 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup fresh basil, coarsely chopped
  • 0.5 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • Boil a large pot of salted water. Add spaghetti and cook for 8 to 10 minutes until al dente. Drain.
  • Coat spaghetti generously with olive oil, butter, garlic, basil, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
