Indulge in a refreshing rum-spiked iced tea for the ultimate summer treat.
Ingredients:
750ml (3 cups) boiling water
40.00 gm caster sugar
3spearmint & chamomile tea bags
185ml (3/4 cup) gin
80ml (1/3 cup) white rum
80ml (1/3 cup) Drambuie
60ml (1/4 cup) fresh lemon juice
Ice cubes, to serve
Fresh mint leaves, to serve
Instructions:
In a medium heatproof bowl, mix together water, sugar, and tea bags. Let it infuse for 30 minutes, then chill in the fridge for another 30 minutes.
In a serving jug, mix together the gin, rum, Drambuie, and lemon juice. Add ice, mint, and tea mixture, then stir to blend. Pour into glasses and serve right away.
