Tropic Tea

Refreshing tropical iced tea with spearmint and pear vodka, a cool thirst-quencher for summer days.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup very hot water
  • 2 tea bags (such as Lipton®)
  • 1 tablespoon firmly packed fresh spearmint leaves
  • 5 cubes ice, or as desired
  • 1 tablespoon simple syrup, or to taste
  • 0.5 fluid ounce pear-flavored vodka (such as Absolut®)
Instructions:
  • Fill a glass with water and drop in the tea bags. Infuse the tea until the water turns very dark, for approximately 4 minutes, then remove and throw away the tea bags.
  • Muddle spearmint leaves in a 12-ounce glass. Add ice, tea, simple syrup, and vodka. Stir well.
