Bake speckled trout with capers and white wine in foil for a delicious, easy weeknight dinner.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound fresh speckled trout
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon capers
  • 1 pinch paprika, or to taste
  • 0.25 cup white cooking wine
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh parsley, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and elegantly line a baking dish with aluminum foil.
  • Lay the trout at the center of the aluminum foil and add butter, lemon pepper, capers, and paprika on top. Drizzle cooking wine over the trout, then seal the foil around it.
  • Cook the trout in the preheated oven until it easily flakes with a fork, around 30 minutes. Sprinkle parsley on top before serving.
