Indulge in a quick and satisfying pea and ham soup for winter comfort.
Ingredients:
  • 18.20 gm olive oil
  • 1 large brown onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 750g sebago potatoes, peeled, chopped
  • 180g sliced leg ham, chopped
  • 1 litre chicken style liquid stock
  • 250.00 ml frozen peas
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic, cook and stir for 3 minutes until onion softens. Then, add ham and potato, cook and stir for 5 more minutes.
  • Pour in flavorful stock and generously season with freshly ground pepper before covering the pot. Allow it to come to a rapid boil, then lower the heat to medium-low and let it simmer for 15 to 20 minutes until the potatoes are tender. Set it aside for a brief 5 minutes to cool slightly before gently folding in the vibrant peas.
  • Puree the ingredients in batches until velvety smooth. Serve and enjoy.
