Irresistible spelt flour biscuits with a nutty whole grain flavor. Enjoy warm with butter, honey, or jam. No leftovers guaranteed!
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups spelt flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 0.66666668653488 cup milk
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 450 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  • Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Add butter and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs. Gradually add milk until dough pulls away from the bowl's sides. Adjust as needed. Pat out dough on a floured surface to 1 inch thickness. Cut into biscuits and place on a baking sheet.
  • Bake until the bottoms are golden brown, for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven.
