Festive holiday cupcakes with spiced cake and rich brown butter frosting. Perfect for sweet cravings and cozy gatherings.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Delights Super Moist™ Spice Cake Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter, browned and cooled
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 5 cups powdered sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the cake mix box for cupcakes. Line 24 regular-size muffin cups with paper baking cups.
  • Combine cake mix, water, oil, and eggs in a large bowl until thoroughly mixed. Fill baking cups with batter according to package instructions for cupcakes. Bake as directed, then cool before serving.
  • Combine the cream cheese and browned butter until smooth. Mix in the heavy cream, vanilla bean paste, cinnamon, and powdered sugar until fully incorporated.
