Cozy up with a comforting apple tea to keep you warm in winter.
Ingredients:
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 2 granny smith apples, cored, roughly chopped
  • 82.50 gm raw sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick, halved
  • 5.30 gm lemon juice
  • Thinly sliced granny smith apple, to serve
Instructions:
  • Crush cloves in a mortar and pestle. Combine crushed cloves, apple, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice in a saucepan. Pour in 6 cups of cold water and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  • Simmer until the apple is tender for about 5 minutes, then strain into a heatproof jug. Finally, pour into glasses and garnish with apple slices before serving.
