Spiced apple tea with cinnamon whisky

Warm up with spicy apple tea spiked with cinnamon whiskey.
Ingredients:
  • 2 orange and cinnamon tea bags
  • 400ml boiling water
  • 500ml (2 cups) apple juice
  • 125ml (1/2 cup) Fireball Cinnamon Whisky
  • 4 strips orange peel
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 6 cloves
  • 2 star anise
  • 1 kanzi apple, thinly sliced
Instructions:
  • Add the tea bags to a saucepan, pour boiling water over them, and let steep for 4 minutes. Remove and discard the tea bags.
  • Combine apple juice, whisky, orange peel, cinnamon, cloves, and star anise in a pan. Cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until hot and fragrant.
  • Put apple slices in a teapot or large jug, then pour the tea mixture over them and let it sit for 2-3 minutes to infuse.
