Autumn apple topping for pancakes, also perfect as a dessert with ice cream or Greek yogurt.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 pinch ground cloves
  • cooking spray
  • 3 large apples - peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 0.25 cup almond milk
  • 0.25 cup pure maple syrup
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and mix together flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt in a small bowl.
  • Grease a pie pan or 8-inch square baking pan with cooking spray. Add apple slices, sprinkle with flour mixture, drizzle with milk, maple syrup, and vanilla, then toss to coat evenly.
  • Roast in the oven until the apples are tender but not mushy, for about 25-30 minutes.
