Easy spicy baked fries to elevate your burger game.
Ingredients:
  • 4 large russet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/4 inch thick fries
  • 0.25 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.25 cup tomato-vegetable juice cocktail
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons dried onion granules
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C and grease a large baking sheet.
  • Place the potatoes in a large bowl of cold water and let them soak for 10 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, combine oil, vegetable juice cocktail, chili powder, ground cumin, onion granules, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, sugar, and salt. Drain the potatoes and pat dry with paper towels. Toss the potatoes in the oil and spice mixture until evenly coated. Arrange fries in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  • Bake the fries in a preheated oven for 40 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
