Spice up your Thanksgiving with this pepper jelly dish, a perfect match for grilled or spicy turkey!
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 bag (12 oz) fresh or frozen (thawed) cranberries (3 cups)
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, peeled, chopped
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange peel
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup hot pepper jelly
Instructions:
  • Combine water, cranberries, apple, sugar, orange peel, and orange juice in a 2-quart saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then simmer.
  • Simmer the cranberries uncovered for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until they start to burst and the mixture thickens. Mix in the pepper jelly. Allow it to cool completely before storing it covered in the refrigerator.
