Crispy spiralized skinny fries seasoned with Old Bay, hot sauce, and topped with tangy malt vinegar.
Ingredients:
  • nonfat cooking spray
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1.5 tablespoons seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 large russet potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon malt vinegar, or to taste
  • sea salt to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 425 degrees F (220 degrees C), and cover 2 baking sheets with shiny aluminum foil sprayed with a touch of cooking spray.
  • Combine oil, seafood seasoning, onion powder, hot sauce, and garlic powder in a bowl and mix well.
  • Spiralize potatoes using a large shredder blade on a spiralizer, then trim long spirals into smaller pieces.
  • Transfer the potatoes to a large bowl and generously coat them with the flavorful oil mixture, ensuring each potato is perfectly covered.
  • Arrange the seasoned potatoes in a single layer on the baking sheets, ensuring there is a 1/4-inch space between each spiral.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 8-9 minutes until the bottom of the potatoes is browned. Flip with a spatula and bake for another 6 minutes until the top is browned and crisp.
  • Drizzle potatoes with savory malt vinegar and a sprinkle of sea salt.
