Whip up tasty Hawaiian sliders with teriyaki luncheon meat, spicy sriracha, and sweet pineapple on toasted rolls.
Ingredients:
  • 9 Hawaiian bread rolls (such as King's®), split
  • 1 (12 ounce) can fully cooked luncheon meat, teriyaki flavor (such as SPAM® Teriyaki)
  • 3 pineapple rings
  • 3 tablespoons sriracha hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
Instructions:
  • Position the oven rack 6 inches below the heat source and preheat the oven's broiler or set a toaster oven to broil. Arrange rolls cut-side up on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Toast rolls in a preheated oven until they are lightly browned, which should take about 1 to 3 minutes.
  • Cut the luncheon meat lengthwise into nine slices that are 1/4-inch thick.
  • Preheat a cast-iron or non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Sear luncheon meat slices until golden brown, 1 minute each side; place on toasted roll bottoms. Sauté pineapple rings in the skillet until lightly caramelized, 1 1/2 to 2 minutes per side.
  • Evenly coat each slice of luncheon meat with spicy sriracha sauce. Cut each pineapple ring into thirds. Place a pineapple piece on top of each slice of meat, drizzle with fresh lime juice, and sandwich with the roll tops.
