Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 pounds pork tenderloin
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 large onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 3 fresh red chile peppers, chopped, or to taste
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear tenderloins in olive oil until golden brown on all sides, for about 10 minutes.
  • Combine chicken broth, teriyaki sauce, and brown sugar in a bowl, then fold in onion, garlic, red chile peppers, and black pepper to create a flavorful mixture.
  • Place the seared tenderloins in the slow cooker and generously coat them in the flavorful teriyaki sauce. Cook on Low for 4 hours, rotating occasionally for even cooking until the internal temperature reaches 180°F (82°C).
  • Take out the tenderloins from the slow cooker and allow them to rest for 5 minutes before cutting. Drizzle the slices with the flavorful liquid before serving, if preferred.
