Indulge in a decadent pumpkin cheesecake with a chocolate crust, topped with sour cream and a spooky chocolate web design.
Ingredients:
  • 1.25 cups chocolate wafer crumbs
  • 0.25 cup butter, melted
  • 3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1.5 cups canned pumpkin pie filling
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 (1 ounce) squares semisweet chocolate
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Combine chocolate wafer crumbs with melted butter in a bowl, then firmly press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  • In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to blend the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time until blended. Mix in pumpkin pie filling and cornstarch, then pour over the chocolate wafer crust.
  • Bake in a hot oven until the center is perfectly set, for about 50 to 55 minutes.
  • Smooth a layer of luxurious sour cream over the top of your freshly baked, warm cheesecake, allowing it to cool to perfection.
  • Combine chocolate and oil in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 1 minute until melted. Stir until smooth. Drizzle the chocolate over the sour cream topping in a spiral pattern, starting from the center. Using a toothpick, drag from the center to the edges through circles to create a web design. Remove the side of the pan and serve.
