Make spooky Spider Dogs with crescent rolls, hot dogs, and ketchup for a fun Halloween appetizer!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 8 hot dogs
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) for a perfect bake.
  • Flatten out the crescent dough and separate into 4 rectangles along the perforated lines. Then, slice each rectangle in half lengthwise to yield 8 narrow strips.
  • Slice the hot dog ends lengthwise by 2 inches each, creating "legs". Repeat with remaining hot dogs.
  • Wrap a crescent strip around the center of each hot dog and place the spider dogs on an ungreased baking sheet.
  • Bake until golden brown, about 11 minutes. Use a chopstick to add ketchup "eyes" to each spider. Serve with extra ketchup on the side.
