Soy sauce, hoisin, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic create a quick and flavorful dipping sauce for spring rolls. Just mix and chill to let the flavors meld!
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce, or more as needed
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon green onions, chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon white sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
Instructions:
  • Combine soy sauce, 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce, water, garlic, green onions, sesame oil, sugar, and ginger in a small bowl. Whisk until well combined, adding extra hoisin sauce if desired for thickness. Cover and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours to let the flavors meld.
  • Transfer the mixture to a small saucepan and gently warm over medium-low heat for 2 to 4 minutes before serving.
