Springtime Sprinkles Cake

Quick and simple recipe that is both visually appealing and tasty.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ White Cake Mix
  • Water, butter and egg whites called for on cake mix box
  • 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting
  • Betty Crocker™ Decorating Decors orange, blue and purple sugars
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Follow box instructions to prepare, bake, and let cake cool in a 13x9-inch pan.
  • Spread a delicious layer of frosting over the top of the dish.
  • For garnishing: Press cookie cutter gently into the frosting on the cake to create a design; lift cutter and dip its edge into one of the sugars, then press the cutter back into the same spot on the cake. Repeat with different sugars and sizes of cookie cutters as preferred. Store the cake loosely covered.
