Gelatin-infused cream for long-lasting, fluffy pie topping or cake frosting.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup cold water
  • 1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • First, chill the mixing bowl and beaters for a minimum of 15 minutes before you start. Then, grab a small microwave-safe bowl, pour in the water, sprinkle the gelatin over the water, and let it soften for 5 minutes.
  • Microwave gelatin for 3 minutes, stirring every minute until fully dissolved. Let it cool at room temperature for 10 minutes until it reaches a liquid state, ensuring it is not warm before adding to cream.
  • Take out the chilled bowl and beaters, then pour in the cream, sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until beater marks start to show distinctly.
  • Pour the gelatin mixture into the cream in a steady stream while constantly beating. Continue beating until stiff peaks form. Enjoy right away.
