Apple & cranberry sauce

Apple-infused cranberry sauce is the ideal accompaniment for poultry dishes. Prepare ahead of time for a stress-free cooking experience. Gift in a sterilized jar for a thoughtful homemade present.
Ingredients:
  • 500 g cranberries fresh cranberries or frozen ones (defrosted)
  • 2 bramley apples peeled, cored and cut into chunks
  • 150 g golden caster sugar
  • 1 stick of cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Combine all ingredients in a wide saucepan and add a splash of water. Heat the pan and bring the mixture to a boil. Simmer until cranberries burst and the apple softens. Boil until slightly thickened, then remove from heat and let it cool. If gifting, divide into sterilized jars and share with friends. Refrigerate after opening.
