Transform leftover cranberry sauce into a delicious dish by using it in this versatile recipe, perfect for Thanksgiving leftovers or any time of year!
Ingredients:
  • 4 Granny Smith apples - peeled, cored and sliced
  • 1.5 cups whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 0.66666668653488 cup packed brown sugar
  • 0.66666668653488 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for perfect baking results.
  • In an 8 or 9 inch square baking dish, layer apple slices and spread cranberry sauce over them. Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and butter in a bowl until crumbly. Sprinkle the mixture over the apples and cranberry sauce, making sure to cover completely.
  • Bake for 45 minutes in a preheated oven until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
