Ingredients:
  • 170g oven fries
  • 140g piece beef fillet steak
  • 20g butter
  • 24.40 gm Worcestershire sauce
  • 20.00 ml brandy, optional
  • 63.13 gm light thickened cream
  • 20.00 ml fresh flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C. Arrange the oven fries on a baking tray and bake according to the package instructions until they are golden and tender.
  • In a small, non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat, heat oil. Season beef with salt and pepper, then cook each side for 3 to 4 minutes for medium doneness or until cooked to your preference. Transfer steak to a plate and cover with foil to maintain warmth.
  • Reduce the heat to medium and add butter to a frying pan. Stir until melted, then add Worcestershire sauce, brandy, cream, parsley, salt, and pepper. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce just comes to a boil.
  • Transfer the succulent steak onto a beautiful serving plate and generously drizzle the delectable sauce on top.
