Indulge in juicy steak with crispy fries.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5kg brushed (sebago) potatoes, peeled, dried, cut into thick chips
  • 45.50 gm olive oil
  • Salt
  • 4 beef porterhouse steaks
  • Masterfoods steak seasoning
  • 1 pkt salad mix, to serve (see note)
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 220C and line two large baking trays with baking paper. Toss the potatoes in 2 tablespoons of oil, season with salt, and spread them evenly on the trays. Bake for 40-50 minutes, turning them once halfway through cooking.
  • Preheat a barbecue chargrill to medium-high heat. Brush steaks with oil on both sides. Season with steak seasoning all over. Grill for 3 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Plate the steaks alongside the crispy chips and fresh salad.
