Steamed baby beetroot with mint

Elevate your meal with a show-stopping side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5kg canned beetroot
  • 18.20 gm extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tsp red wine vinegar
  • 20.00 ml small fresh mint leaves
Instructions:
  • Steam the beetroot in a metal steamer over simmering water for 30 minutes until tender. Let it sit for 5 minutes until cool to the touch.
  • 1. Put on rubber gloves and peel the beetroot. 2. Place the peeled beetroot in a bowl. 3. Drizzle with oil and vinegar, then add chopped mint. 4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. 5. Gently mix everything together. 6. Serve and enjoy!
