Sweetened rhubarb stewed with cinnamon for a delightful dessert sauce or topping.
Ingredients:
  • 10 cups diced rhubarb
  • 3 cups white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Add rhubarb to a large pot and fill with water until almost covered. Boil, then simmer over medium heat until tender, about 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  • Stir in sugar and cinnamon off the heat until sugar dissolves. Serve hot or cold.
