Effortlessly whip up a delicious weeknight dinner in no time with this quick and easy recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 67.50 gm hoisin sauce
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 30.00 ml rice wine vinegar
  • 21.00 gm salt-reduced soy sauce
  • 18.20 gm peanut oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 250g packet (slow-cooked and shredded) barbecue pork (see cook’s note)
  • 225g bag coleslaw mix
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced diagonally
  • 4 brioche buns, warmed, split (see note)
  • 61.88 gm Japanese-style mayonnaise
Instructions:
  • Mix hoisin sauce, sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, and soy sauce in a bowl.
  • - Heat peanut oil in a wok until sizzling. Add garlic and stir-fry until fragrant. Pour in hoisin sauce mixture and bring to a boil. Lower the heat, add pork, and stir-fry until heated through and well combined. Take off the heat.
  • Combine coleslaw mix and onion with pork. Spread pork mixture on bun bases, add mayonnaise, sandwich with bun tops, and serve.
