Irresistible honey-soy chicken wings with a side of flavorful noodle stir-fry. Kids favorite!
Ingredients:
  • 86.63 gm salt-reduced soy sauce
  • 89.38 gm honey
  • 16.00 gm brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp sesame oil
  • 1.5kg chicken wing
  • 450g packet fresh hokkien noodles
  • 4.60 gm rice bran oil
  • 1 small red capsicum, thinly sliced
  • 125g packet fresh baby corn, halved
  • 2 green onions, sliced diagonally
  • 150g snow peas, trimmed, halved diagonally
  • 11.00 gm sweet chilli sauce
Instructions:
  • Mix together soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, garlic, and oil in a jug.
  • Remove wing tips and discard. Place wings in an oven-proof dish and coat with the soy sauce mixture. Refrigerate for 2 hours, if possible.
  • Preheat your oven to 180C/160C fan-forced. Bake the wings in the flavorful marinade for 50-60 minutes, turning and basting halfway through, until they are beautifully golden and perfectly cooked.
  • Prepare the Noodle stir-fry by cooking the noodles according to package instructions, draining them, then heating oil in a wok or large frying pan. Stir-fry capsicum and corn for 2 to 3 minutes until slightly softened, then add onion and snow peas and cook for an additional 3 minutes until the snow peas are vibrant and tender. Finally, mix in the noodles and sauce, cooking for another minute until everything is heated through.
  • Present the chicken alongside a flavorful noodle stir-fry.
