Indulge in our irresistible honey and soy glazed chicken wings for a perfect blend of salty, sticky, and sweet flavors.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher (coarse) salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked pepper
  • 3 lb chicken wingettes and drummettes
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 canned chipotle chile in adobo sauce, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 425°F. Cover 2 rimmed baking sheets with sturdy foil and give them a nice spray of cooking oil.
  • Place the chicken in a gallon-sized resealable plastic bag along with oil, salt, and pepper. Seal the bag and shake well to evenly coat the chicken.
  • Arrange the chickens on baking sheets and bake uncovered for 30 minutes. Then, flip the chickens over and rotate the baking sheets in the oven. Continue baking for another 20 to 30 minutes until the chicken is golden brown and the juices run clear when the thickest part is cut to the bone (minimum 165°F).
  • In a 1-quart saucepan, combine Sweet and Savory Sauce ingredients and simmer over medium heat. Stir frequently until the sauce thickens and becomes syrupy, approximately 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Toss the chicken with the sauce in a large bowl, return to the cookie sheets, and bake for an additional 5 minutes. Serve warm.
