Tender chicken strips coated in a sticky orange nectarine sauce, ready in 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup orange juice
  • 0.25 cup light soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons buckwheat honey
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh ginger
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh garlic
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 pinch Italian seasoning
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil, or as needed
  • 2 nectarines, sliced
Instructions:
  • Combine fragrant orange juice, salty soy sauce, sweet honey, spicy hot sauce, rich brown sugar, zesty ginger, and aromatic garlic in a small bowl to create a flavorful sauce.
  • Season the flour with a hint of salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cut the chicken breasts into 1/2-inch strips, dredge in the seasoned flour, and add a final touch of salt and pepper.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, gently sear chicken strips until golden on both sides. Pour in the flavorful orange sauce and simmer until thickened, about 8 to 10 minutes, ensuring the chicken is cooked through.
  • Arrange the chicken on a plate and layer with fresh nectarine slices.
