Tantalize your taste buds with tangy hoisin and aromatic Chinese five spice on grilled pork.
Ingredients:
  • 43.20 gm hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp Chinese five spice
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 4 Pork Cutlets, French trimmed
  • 270g pkt dried soba noodles
  • 300g green cabbage, finely shredded
  • 250.00 ml coriander leaves
  • 1 spring onion, finely chopped
  • 62.50 ml white vinegar
  • 30.00 ml mirin
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
Instructions:
  • Mix hoisin sauce, aromatic Chinese five spice, minced garlic, and fresh ginger on a plate. Add in the succulent pork and ensure it is fully coated in this flavorful marinade.
  • Preheat a barbecue grill or chargrill to medium-high heat, then reduce to low. Grill pork for 7 minutes on each side for medium doneness, or until cooked to your preference.
  • Boil noodles for 3-4 mins until tender. Rinse in cold water, drain, and place in a large bowl. Mix in cabbage, coriander, spring onion, vinegar, mirin, and oil. Season well and toss to coat.
  • Present the pork alongside a vibrant and fresh salad.
