Indulge in a sophisticated strawberry and rose jelly - a playful treat for the young at heart.
Ingredients:
  • 70.95 gm caster sugar
  • 6.00 gm gelatine powder
  • 250.00 ml sparkling rosé
  • 250g punnet strawberries, finely chopped
  • 126.25 gm whipped cream
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon sugar, plus extra to dust (optional)
Instructions:
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine 3/4 cup of water and sugar until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and whisk in gelatine until dissolved. Stir in rosé until well combined.
  • Distribute the strawberries equally among 8 shot glasses. Pour in the rosé mixture. Chill for 4 hours or overnight to firm up.
  • Mix together the whipped cream and cinnamon sugar. Spoon a dollop into each glass. Sprinkle with extra cinnamon sugar for added flavor, if desired, and enjoy your delicious treat.
