Transform canned lemonade into a crowd-pleasing thirst-quencher with just a few simple ingredients.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box (4-serving size) Jell-O™ strawberry-flavored gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 2 boxes (10 oz each) frozen strawberries in light syrup, partially thawed
  • 1 quart (4 cups) fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 1 can (12 oz) frozen lemonade concentrate, partially thawed
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 bottle (11.2 oz) hard lemonade 5% alcohol beverage or 1 can (12 oz) lemon-lime carbonated beverage
  • 6 additional bottles (11.2 oz each) hard lemonade 5% alcohol beverage or 1 bottle (2 liters) lemon-lime carbonated beverage or ginger ale, chilled
Instructions:
  • Place the gelatin in a 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish, then pour boiling water over it and stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
  • Combine strawberries in syrup, fresh strawberries, lemonade concentrate, and sugar in a food processor. Process until smooth. Transfer mixture to a bowl and stir in a bottle of hard lemonade. Freeze for 4 to 6 hours or overnight, stirring after 2 hours, until slush consistency is achieved.
  • Spoon 1/2 cup of slush mixture into each glass and top with 1/3 cup of hard lemonade. Stir gently before serving. Enjoy!
