Irresistible creamy garlic stuffed mushrooms, a party hit!
Ingredients:
  • 12 whole fresh mushrooms, tough ends trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  • Clean the mushrooms with a damp paper towel, delicately remove the stems, finely chop the stems, and set the caps aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, warm oil. Cook mushroom stems and garlic until moisture evaporates, being mindful not to burn the garlic, for 3 to 5 minutes. Transfer mixture to a bowl and let cool for about 10 minutes.
  • Blend together cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, black pepper, onion powder, and cayenne pepper with the cooled mushroom mixture until creamy and well combined. Fill each mushroom cap generously with the stuffing using a small spoon. Place the stuffed mushrooms on the baking sheet.
  • Bake in the oven until sizzling hot and juices start to form under each mushroom cap, approximately 20 minutes.
