Creamy mushroom-stuffed pork chops - a comforting family favorite with a twist.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 thick cut pork chops
  • 3 cups day-old bread cubes
  • 0.25 cup butter, melted
  • 0.25 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons chopped celery
  • 2 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 0.25 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 0.33333334326744 cup water
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, heat oil until shimmering. Sear pork chops until golden brown on each side for 4 to 6 minutes; then transfer to a baking dish.
  • Combine bread cubes, butter, chicken broth, celery, onion, and poultry seasoning in a bowl. Top the pork chops with generous scoops of the stuffing mixture.
  • Mix the condensed soup with water, then drizzle over the stuffing and pork chops. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
  • Place in a hot oven for 30 minutes. Uncover, and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the juices are clear, and a meat thermometer placed in the middle reads 145°F (63°C).
