Bake pork chops with apple-celery stuffing for a mouthwatering, impressive dish that's easy to make.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon chopped onion
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 3 cups fresh bread crumbs
  • 2 cups chopped apples
  • 0.25 cup chopped celery
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 6 (1 1/4 inch) thick pork chops
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Saute onion in butter until tender. Remove from heat and mix in bread crumbs, apples, celery, parsley, and salt. Cut a large pocket in each pork chop. Season with salt and pepper, then stuff with apple mixture.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chops on both sides until browned. Transfer the browned chops to a 9x13 inch baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until juices run clear.
