Indulgent gorgonzola and apple-stuffed pork chops, made easy.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 4 large boneless pork chops, that can be butterflied
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 sweet apples of your choice, peeled and chopped
  • 1.5 cups crumbled gorgonzola cheese
Instructions:
  • Slice each pork chop horizontally through the center with a sharp knife, leaving them attached on one side to create a butterfly shape.
  • In a large skillet over medium high heat, heat oil. Add pork chops and cook on each side for 5 to 7 minutes on medium heat until desired doneness. Set aside.
  • In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt butter or margarine. Add apples and saute until tender. Remove from heat and stir in cheese until a creamy sauce forms.
  • Place the chops on a serving plate and generously stuff each one with the delicious apple and cheese mixture. Serve while still hot.
