Try this quick and easy Quebecois fudge, Sucre la creme, cooked in the microwave for a sweet and delightful treat anytime!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
Instructions:
  • Combine white sugar, brown sugar, and cream in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 10 minutes, stirring halfway through. Allow to sit for 5 minutes.
  • Beat the mixture on low speed using an electric mixer for 4 minutes. Pour the mixture into a buttered 8-inch square glass baking dish. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour or until firm. Cut into squares once it is set.
