Summer fruits with chocolate sauce

Savor the flavors of summer with this simple dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 166.65 gm thickened cream
  • 200g good-quality dark cooking chocolate, chopped
  • 350g cherries
  • 2 freestone white peaches, halved, stones removed, cut into wedges
  • 150g raspberries
  • 4 nectarines, quartered, stones removed
Instructions:
  • In a small saucepan, warm cream over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes until just before boiling. Take off the heat, then add chocolate and stir with a metal spoon until smooth. Let it cool for 30 minutes, then serve in 4 small bowls.
  • Assemble a variety of fresh cherries, peaches, raspberries, and nectarines on individual serving plates and accompany them with decadent chocolate sauce.
