Refreshing strawberry salad with baby spinach, feta, red onion, and toasted walnuts. Perfect for summer!
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups walnut pieces
  • 1 pint strawberries, quartered
  • 1 (10 ounce) bag iceberg salad
  • 1 (5 ounce) bag baby spinach
  • 1 (4 ounce) container crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced into rings
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and sprinkle walnuts on a baking sheet.
  • Bake walnuts in a preheated oven until they are golden brown and fragrant, for 5 to 7 minutes. Allow them to cool for about 5 minutes before using.
  • Combine the toasted walnuts, strawberries, iceberg lettuce, baby spinach, feta cheese, red onion, and black pepper in a large bowl and mix gently.
