Fruit salad: Apples, bananas in pineapple juice, kiwi, strawberries in peach pie filling. Combine, chill, serve beautifully.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (20 ounce) can pineapple chunks, juice reserved
  • 2 apples, peeled and cored
  • 1 (21 ounce) can peach pie filling
  • 2 bananas, peeled and diced
  • 3 kiwis
  • 1 pint strawberries
Instructions:
  • Combine the chopped apples with the reserved pineapple juice in a small bowl and let them marinate for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Mix the peach pie filling and pineapple chunks in a large salad bowl.
  • Take out the apples from the pineapple juice and combine them with the pie filling and pineapple mixture. In the reserved pineapple juice, mix in the chopped bananas and let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Peel and slice the kiwi and half of the strawberries. Finely chop the remaining strawberries and set them aside.
  • Drain the bananas from the pineapple juice, then mix them into the pie filling along with the chopped strawberries. Combine well.
  • Layer the kiwi slices decoratively around the edge of the serving bowl, alternating with slices of fresh strawberries. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
